About Us

Mission of the Nebraska Law Enforcement Memorial Committee

From it's inception, the mission of the Nebraska Law Enforcement committee has been to keep the memory of fallen officers alive and their stories told.

The annual memorial ceremony serves as a celebration of the life and contributions of the individuals whose names appear on the wall. And through this celebration we remember them, the brave, the children, brothers, sisters, and community members who gave their lives to protect the citizens of Nebraska. We honor them.

The roll call you see on this website honors those who have lost their lives as recently as 2024 and reaches as far back as 1866. Unfortunately, the memorial and these pages will never be static. As officers continue to answer the call, the memorial will be ever changing. We honor them.

We invite you to explore this website to get to know the names, the faces, and the true sacrifices of the fallen. In addition, we invite you to visit the memorial in person. Take a moment at the memorial to consider who these individuals were, what their job entailed, and what their loss to family and community meant...take just a moment...consider the magnitude of their actions...never forget...spread the word...honor them.
